Senior

Services

Welcome to PDCSS Senior Services, proudly participating in United Way's Better at Home program. We are dedicated to supporting the independence of older adults in Princeton and District by providing simple, non-medical home support services. Our unique 'seniors planning for seniors' approach ensures that older adults actively contribute to the design, operation, and evaluation of their local program.

Our range of services is designed to meet the diverse needs of seniors in our community. Currently, we offer services such as Good Morning calls, convenient laundry service (including pick-up and drop-off), and assistance with grocery shopping. Looking ahead, we are excited to expand our offerings to include friendly visitations, transportation to appointments, light yard work (available in the spring), snow shoveling (available in the winter), and light housekeeping.

At PDCSS Senior Services, we understand that each individual's circumstances are unique. Therefore, our services are offered on a sliding scale determined by line 150 (total income) of your Canada Revenue Agency income tax Notice of Assessment. This ensures that our support is accessible and tailored to your specific needs.

For more information on how our Better at Home program can enhance your or your loved one's quality of life, please contact our dedicated Better at Home Coordinator, Denise Malsbury, at [email protected] or by phone at 250-293-6564. We look forward to assisting you in maintaining the independence and well-being of our cherished senior community members.
