We’re excited to announce that Princeton & District Community Services Society has partnered with Princeton Family Services Society to create a vibrant new community garden! This garden will be located on the former site of the Silvercrest buildings, which were tragically lost in the 2021 floods.
Our goal is for this garden to symbolize hope, resilience, and renewal in a neighborhood deeply affected by the floods. Thanks to generous grants from Community Foundations South Okanagan, Valley First Credit Union, United Way, and BC Housing, we are able to bring this vision to life. This project will help provide affordable access to fresh produce, supporting those struggling with the rising cost of healthy food.
